Hi all, Not sure if this is specific to repos inside pkg-ruby-extras/, or if this is a more general problem, but just wanted to make sure to report this, at least:
I've just pushed three tags in three different repos, and each time I got: # git push --tags Counting objects: 1, done. Writing objects: 100% (1/1), 861 bytes | 0 bytes/s, done. Total 1 (delta 0), reused 0 (delta 0) remote: Sending notification emails to: pkg-ruby-extras-comm...@lists.alioth.debian.org remote: fatal: Invalid revision range 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000..f2f53a7c97c257d5b5ce0c4d5e424e292ad0f769 [...] Additionally, I've deleted a branch, and got: [...] remote: Sending notification emails to: pkg-ruby-extras-comm...@lists.alioth.debian.org remote: fatal: ambiguous argument 'refs/heads/schleuder/3.1.0-3': unknown revision or path not in the working tree. remote: Use '--' to separate paths from revisions, like this: remote: 'git <command> [<revision>...] -- [<file>...]' remote: fatal: Invalid revision range 273d191c58afbfecbbd3effab221f6750aff63c2..0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 It seems one of the hooks doesn't deal with this correctly, currently at least; this is the first time I'm seeing this. As I'm missing rights to temporarily add debugging code, to find the hook which causes this, I didn't. If someone takes care of this, and needs a hand, let me know.
