Habe von 2.4.18-bf2.4 auf 2.4.26-2 Kernel gewechselt. Ich gehe über 56K Modem manuell (pon, poff) online. Im Hintergrund läuft noch diald, weil ich irgendwann mal nen dial-on-demand Zugang einrichten wollte, das aber noch nicht hingehauen hat.
Nach dem Kernelwechsel tauchen in /var/log/messages solche Meldungen auf: Jun 11 12:11:11 hotlips pppd[581]: PAP authentication succeeded Jun 11 12:11:12 hotlips pppd[581]: local IP address 145.254.233.59 Jun 11 12:11:12 hotlips pppd[581]: remote IP address 145.253.1.121 Jun 11 12:11:12 hotlips pppd[581]: primary DNS address 145.253.2.81 Jun 11 12:11:12 hotlips pppd[581]: secondary DNS address 145.253.2.203 Jun 11 12:11:16 hotlips diald[317]: Trigger: udp 192.168.0.1/1025 145 .253.2.81/53 Jun 11 12:11:16 hotlips diald[317]: Calling site 192.168.0.2 Jun 11 12:11:16 hotlips diald[317]: Device ttyS1 is locked by pid 581 Jun 11 12:11:16 hotlips diald[317]: Device ttyS1 is locked by pid 581 Jun 11 12:11:16 hotlips diald[317]: No devices free to call out on. Kann es sein, das mein diald unter dem alten Kernel nicht funktionierte, weil dort irgendein Modul fehlte? 2.
