Well, ok, then explain please to a non-ukrainian, non-cyrillic user how to use different fonts... I personally use uk_UA.UTF-8 and run some programs in KOI8-U xterm: /bin/sh -c 'export LANG=uk_UA.KOI8-U; export LC_ALL=uk_UA.KOI8-U; xterm -fn -*-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-20-*-*-*-*-*-koi8-u -fg white -bg black -cr green -geometry 96x30' And beware that some GUI programs still have problems running in UTF-8 locale... So I think if someone plan to use his server as a shell-server it's preffered to use well-known uk_UA.KOI8-U locale and don't concentrate on our tips and tricks. -- Best wishes, ~ Serge. pubkeys: http://uch.net/~fisher/keys.asc ~fingerprint : 4346 2766 BC96 E77F 5BFF 1E7C 12C2 3852 E5FD DC34 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
