Ok, I'm not sure what that initrd line is. I've never seen it before, and it's not in the lilo.conf(5) manpage. Strings it, and see if it has the parameters you're looking for, though I doubt it. More likely would be that you're not actually passing the parameters to the kernel, but to modules. I'm not sure if redhat uses an /etc/modules like debian, and I don't have a redhat system anymore to check for you. Look for this, though, it's just a list of modules the kernel loads at boot time and their parameters. Hope this helps. -Dano
