No, that's my point. WineHQ doesn't have Debian packages, they have Ubuntu Packages. They are not the same. Debian does have wine packages, but they are usually a couple of versions behind the mainstream (and for good reason as Debian strives for stability). The point is, if you want the bleeding-edge packages from wine HQ on your pristine Debian system, you have to compile it yourself. If you're insterested in doing that, then perhaps it is a good idea to create packages and upload them to winehq, so all of the other Debian Users who want to run the same bleeding edge software will be able to use your packages. You would become a maintainer, and would have to interact with the Wine developers. I do not volunteer for the job. I don't know who would.
