(further description will be added later) Some comments: I think we really need the development branch of ClanLib. More and more games depends on it, and they can't be updated because of lack of this library. As an example take a look at 'race' package. Some notes from authors: Even though we classify the 0.7.x branch as the development/unstable branch, we are mighty proud of the current state of ClanLib 0.7. It is alot better than 0.6 in all ways, and we fully recommend using 0.7.x instead of 0.6.5. Since version 0.7.4 development branch can co-exists with stable one, so I see no reason for not including it. I'll prepare packages soon (it should be quite easy cause Toni Timonen made preliminary packages #188449). regards fEnIo --------------------------------------- Received: (at 257274-done) by bugs.debian.org; 24 Mar 2005 10:56:06 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 24 02:56:06 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from merkel.debian.org [192.25.206.16] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1DEQ0U-0006kZ-00; Thu, 24 Mar 2005 02:56:06 -0800 Received: from tbm by merkel.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1DEQ0T-00047O-00; Thu, 24 Mar 2005 03:56:05 -0700 Date: Thu, 24 Mar 2005 03:56:05 -0700 From: Martin Michlmayr <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Experimental upload now in unstable Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.3.28i Sender: Martin Michlmayr <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-3.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00 autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 X-Spam-Level: X-CrossAssassin-Score: 9 This WNPP bug was tagged "fixed-in-experimental", but the package has since then moved to unstable. -- Martin Michlmayr http://www.cyrius.com/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
