Ah, it turns out that I'm wrong about this; the other packages are called "sphinxcontrib.foo" because that is the name of the Python module; here the module is literally called sphinxcontrib_github_alt, so your proposed package name is correct. I'm planning to package it today. Best wishes, Julian
