Well, I couldn't wait and used interdiff&Co. to merge current Unstable's libdrm package, latest upstream version and Ubuntu's changes. The result can be found at http://pkg-icewm.alioth.debian.org/~blade/ . It is in the works-for-me state and requires some tweaking of version information, then it could IMHO go into Experimental. If somebody from regular Debian X team would like to take over, please do, otherwise advise me to put it into experimental if that's appropriate.
