I am not sure that is related to the issue I was having? Your issue might be as simple as setting the file size in the Settings to read first 5000 bytes when previewing. Otherwise very large e-mails take a while to process before displaying for preview. This is included in the latest release of SPAM review which can be downloaded from his site. I got my issue worked out that was related to a bug with the fromfile test in declude. Scott is already working on a fix.
