Yes. I had the same problem here. Being that I really don't plan on updating to 7.x (for a couple of reasons) you can either install the patch (and live with everything off) or upgrade to the newest version. Reading a message from last week, someone said this also effected the WS_FTP Server. So is (was) this something that has been there for some time with Ipswitch, just like the "hello" message not being RFC compliant.
