Dean..

We use UltraEdit and I think it can do what you are asking for.

http://www.UltraEdit.com

It has a explorer view and you can assign it a folder to show all contents.. It does not have preview but will open the file.

Subject: [Declude.JunkMail] OT - Looking for a file browser

Hi All,

I just had a RAID go down and when I rebuilt it, some of the files are jumbled. Primarily some html files actually have portions of jibberish in them. Does anyone know of a file browser utility that would be something like Windows Explorer, that would have a directory tree down the left hand side and then in the right pane you would see a preview of the contents of the file when you select it from the tree. I'm not talking about rendering the content, just showing the raw contents.

Thanks, and sorry for the OT post.

Dean
