Is it okay to attach a zip file version of the demo application to the
JIRA issue? I want to get some feedback for the demo app first.
It`s an SWT application written in Java. I want to know for
which platform I should package the demo application. (Win,Linux,Mac).
The demo`s size is approx. 1.1 MB.

I haven't heard any replies from anyone about this, so I say just go ahead and post for whichever platform you want. If someone would like a different platform than s/he can simply request that via DERBY-2487.

I personally would like to see it for Windows since that's what my primary workstation is, but that's just me :)

Furthermore I didn`t come to document all demo app functions. I apparently
integrated an online help, which i want to incrementally update step by
step.

Sounds good. Incremental development (and documentation) is generally a good policy.

Thank you for your willingness to contribute! I hope that as you wait for feedback on your DERBY-2487 changes you feel free to participate in other community processes, as well. For example, by updating or adding pages to the Derby wiki with information that you learned while working on DERBY-2487, or by reviewing patches for other feature development currently happening in Derby.

Of course, this is just a suggestion, not a requirement :)

Thanks again,
Army
