Sebastian, thank you for your help. Ubuntu version is 7.04. The complete
error code message is "The error code is: 1". I am currently on holiday
until 6 July so I am not in front of PC to give you .xsession-errors
information. Since the only way I could find that would be to force
"terminal mode" what directory should I go to.

Two things that would help are: 1) How do I troubleshoot this particular
error -- remember it dealt with panel not being registered with
bonobo-activation server; and 2) If I reformat hard drive and reload Ubuntu,
how do I keep from getting this error again?

John

Thank you for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Do you have
anything in .xsession-errors about it?
