Here are the files for my report. Please note that : - Gnome Volume Manager reported that the data CD was locked by hal - I don't know where to find the IDs after the gnome-volume-manager is restarted in the background - After hald is killed and restarted, the data CD mounts correctly - the command ls -l /dev/sd* gives an error message that /dev/sd* doesn't exist
