Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

The filenames on my digital photos has rolled over. When I save them to
my PC and then view them in Nautilus 2.18.1, sometimes I get the icon
for an older photo with the same name. If I click on the wrong icon
picture, the correct picture displays in Eye of GNOME 2.18.1.

For example, my picture's file name is DSCN9401.JPG. It is stored in
path: /home/mike/Pictures/Pictures 2008-07/Farm_200807_04. There was
once also another picture named DSCN9401.JPG, stored in another
directory, but it is no longer on my PC. It seems that Natilus is
picking up the wrong icon picture and associating it with the new image.
