Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
The filenames on my digital photos has rolled over. When I save them to my PC and then view them in Nautilus 2.18.1, sometimes I get the icon for an older photo with the same name. If I click on the wrong icon picture, the correct picture displays in Eye of GNOME 2.18.1. For example, my picture's file name is DSCN9401.JPG. It is stored in path: /home/mike/Pictures/Pictures 2008-07/Farm_200807_04. There was once also another picture named DSCN9401.JPG, stored in another directory, but it is no longer on my PC. It seems that Natilus is picking up the wrong icon picture and associating it with the new image. 1) Ubuntu 7.04 2) Nautilus 1:2.18.1-0ubuntu1 3) See above 4) See above ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Jul 5 08:26:30 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/nautilus Package: nautilus 1:2.18.1-0ubuntu1 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcCmdline: nautilus --no-default-window --sm-client-id default2 ProcCwd: /home/mike ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: nautilus Uname: Linux mike-desktop 2.6.20-16-386 #2 Sun Sep 23 19:47:10 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- nautilus displays wrong icon for jpg image https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/245811 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
