Binary package hint: rhythmbox
I have a song filename 'Route 66 - John Mayer.mp3' with title 'Route 66
- John Mayer', artist 'Cars Soundtrack', album 'Cars Soundtrack'. I wish
to change this to read title 'Route 66', artist 'Cars Soundtrack' same
Album. Unfortunately when I try to change this it shows a change but
upon clicking on anything it immediately reverts to the initial state.
I've tried using other software to alter the tags (EasyTAG 2.1.5) which
successfully changes it according to itself, but fails to change it in
Rhythmbox. In Thunar file manager, I can successfully change the data,
but also fails to alter it in Rhythmbox. I have tried removing and
reimporting the song, but that fails to fix the problem. The problem
only seems to apply to that particular song.
I am using Xubuntu 8.04 LTS if that helps, with Rhythmbox 0.11.5.
