Public bug reported:

Using Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft (Gnome 2.16).

It sometimes (randomly ?) happens that the trash applet has the "empty
trash" option active in its context menu although the trash is empty.

The icon is ok (empty icon), the only problem is that the menu entry is
not greyed out (of course, if selected, nothing happens).

Putting something in the trash and emptying it fixes the wrong behaviour
(the menu entry is then greyed out).

I'm not sure it can be easily reproduced as it seems quite random
(perhaps it has something to do with the system booting).

I don't think I saw this behaviour with Dapper (6.06).
