Public bug reported: When I compose a new message, then click on the BCC button, a window opens with the names of my address books, but there are no email addresses available to select. I can go back to the main mail window, and click on the Contacts icon, and see all the addresses there. I can even Select All and Copy, then switch back to the draft email, but Paste is inactive when I try to paste the addresses in the BCC line.
When I upgraded Ubuntu to 11.10, Evolution converted from mailbox format to mbox (or vice versa). I recently deleted or marked as inactive the copy of my mailbox that was created in the conversion, but didn't seem to be used. I wonder if this is connected to my problem. Thanks for looking into this problem for me. -Kevin ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: evolution 3.2.0-0ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-12.20-generic 3.0.4 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-12-generic i686 ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu4 Architecture: i386 Date: Thu Nov 3 06:55:41 2011 EcryptfsInUse: Yes ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evolution InstallationMedia: Ubuntu-Netbook-Remix 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.4) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: evolution UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to oneiric on 2011-11-03 (0 days ago) ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug apport-lpi i386 oneiric running-unity ubuntu-une -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/885629 Title: Contact addresses don't show up when composing a message To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/885629/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
