Public bug reported:

When trying to burn a DVD (dual layer in this case, but I don’t know if
this makes a difference), brasero fails to burn the image. Attached, you
find a session log from Brasero.

What seems especially striking is that brasero constructs this command
line:

growisofs -use-the-force-luke=notray -use-the-force-luke=4gms -dvd-
compat -speed=6 -use-the-force-luke=tracksize:3575604 -use-the-force-
luke=tty -Z /dev/sr0=/tmp/brasero_tmp_NX2N9V.bin

This also fails when using it directly. But when I construct a
minimalist version of it, it works:

growisofs -dvd-compat -Z /dev/sr0=/tmp/brasero_tmp_NX2N9V.bin

I don’t know if there are cases in which these extra options are
necessary. But for me, they prevented growisofs from burning the disc
correctly, although it obviously is able to burn it when omitting these
options.
