I successfully completed all 3 test cases with gnome-shell 44.1-0ubuntu1 on Ubuntu 23.04.
One GNOME Shell extension, workrave, does not work but it also does not work with the original gnome-shell (44.0-2ubuntu3) for Ubuntu 23.04. I suspect this was broken between 44 Beta (where it did work) and 44 RC where the upstream developers removed more GTK3 code.
