I still see this bug too. It seems that, with the default media player
(totem-gstreamer), DVD playback isn't very usable. Some menu options
(Play Disc) fail with cryptic error message, fast forward and rewind
buttons don't work, and DVD menus don't work. In fact, depending on the
DVD structure, some DVDs play the extras first.

Assuming there isn't now time to get these features into gstreamer,
perhaps it would be worth considering totem-xine as the default for the
Feisty release? Totem-xine seems to have all this functionality already
and resolves these issues as far as I can see.

Failing that perhaps disabling DVD playback in totem-gstreamer and
warning the user to switch to totem-xine would be better than this
partial support?
