  problem

Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Plugging something into the headphone jack changes the subdevice from
  0 to 1 which isn't controlled by master volume. Unplugging
  headphones/speakers again does nothing, the subdevice is still 1 it
  doesn't revert to 0.
