Bug description:
  OS: 13.04
  Platform Nexus7

After using the nexus7 in Portrait mode over the weekend, I noticed
that all of the indicators in the top right side of the screen are non
  functional (volume/power/network/onboard/battery/bluetooth, etc) .
It's also very difficult to get the menu's to stay shown on the screen
after clicking on them. Sometimes you need to drag your fingers to the
submenu that you want to select, just to keep the dropdown open.

1.) Switch to portrait mode via xrotate
  2.) Select the Power Menu,
3.) Choose anything from the power menu
  4.) Observe Behavior.
