I renamed the ~/.control/pulse folder to recreate the pulseaudio settings.
The only thing that this has resolved is being able to use my usb device as an 
input device.

Otherwise the issue is the same.

In relation to that link, is there anything that I can do with that information 
to add to a file and fix my issue?
