However, such menu entries are broken for all user accounts that are not members of group "admin" because gksudo does not allow for other authentication methods but user's own password. Feature request: change gksudo to allow policykit authorization. Policykit-aware programs are already able to ask for both username and password in case the currently active user cannot grant the access. It could even make sense to replace gksudo with a policykit frontend and forget about making it behave as sudo replacement honoring the /etc/sudoers file.
