I can confirm with 6.2, although I've got a couple extras that didn't work:
Fade, Cut, Tiles, Cube, Circles, Helix, Fall, Turn around, Iris, Turn down, Rochade, 3D venetian, Static, Fine dissolve, Vortex, Ripple, Glitter, Honeycomb, Newsflash. Sometimes nothing happens, sometimes there's that tearing happening. Removing hardware acceleration doesn't change anything.
