David Crossley updated FOR-765:
-------------------------------

Summary: forrest war and classpath issues with Jetty (was: forrest war
gets NoSuchMethodError for some core transformer)
Description: Until recently we could run forrest as a WAR with Jetty. With
today's SVN r356945 it gets past the Cocoon startup phase, then on the first
client request it suffers some error which causes a NoSuchMethodError. See
attached log ... no other clues. This happens for any site, e.g. 'forrest
seed-sample war'. All is okay for 'forrest seed-sample run'. This indicates a
classpath issue with Jetty/Forrest configuration. (was: Until recently we

Changed the issue Summary and Description to better reflect the situation.

Thanks Gavin for that quick test with Tomcat. See mailing list for request for
other testing.

I reviewed my Jetty situation yesterday (both with 4 and 6) and still have the
trouble. Would someone else please try.
