Hello Maven developers,

Thank you all for your hard work — it’s exciting to see Maven 4.0.0
approaching release! We’re all looking forward to it.

For those of us building integrations on top of Maven (think IDEs and
various plugins), a release candidate as close as possible to the final
version would be extremely helpful. This would allow us to properly
validate our builds against it.

At JetBrains, and I’m sure across the broader ecosystem, we would greatly
appreciate having an RC5 available ahead of the final release.

Thank you once again for your continued efforts!

Best regards,
Dmitriy Smirnov
