Hi all. In Bug 1549954 [1], I'm going to make SpiderMonkey link against in-tree brotli library (in modules/brotli, that is decoding part only), to use it in the new BinAST file format that has better compression than current experimental one.
For me, compiling code inside modules/brotli takes only 5 seconds, so I hope it doesn't increase your build time much. If you hit some issue around that, feel free to file a bug and CC me. Thanks!
