( if this message appears thrice, please excuse me for triple posting ;
I posted yesterday and ealier today and the messages havenn't appeared
in the archive , while later ones appeared . As the list isn't seemingly
moderated , I assumed my post has been lost somewhere....I've also
subscribed to the list just in case that was the problem)
I've begun a small project which aims to provide a CustomShape authoring
tool. ( the user fills in properties in a calc document model then a
macro generate the shape)
As of yet, all api calls related to CustomShapes have an "unpublished"
status.
I've managed to create an instance of CustomShape in a document ( using
Starbasic) but there's no way to instantiate the geometry
( css.drawing.EnhancedCustomShapeGeometry )for it. ( the shape is
initialized with an empty array of objects as geometry)
Accessing an already present shape is possible though.
Well, any hints about timeline for stabilisation/usability of this part
of the api ?
that would help me to decide wheter i'll have to stick to doing the api
way or writing an independant tool to edit the xml directly ( I'll hate
this one ;) )
I know there's probably no firm answer to this questions, but any hint
would help.
