David Crossley commented on FOR-1088: ------------------------------------- The Apache Cocoon XInclude Transformer handles xpointer the old way. Until that is fixed at Cocoon (and we at Forrest upgrade our packaged Cocoon) there is a workaround (part of r685044) which does a transformation to append the value of the xpointer attribute to the href attribute. This encourages proper use in the xdocs source documents. > XInclude xpointer fragments should be specified using separate @xpointer > attribute > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: FOR-1088 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FOR-1088 > Project: Forrest > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Core operations > Affects Versions: 0.9-dev > Reporter: David Crossley > > Sjur wrote to the dev list following FOR-1032 (adding xinclude to xdocs DTD) > and FOR-814 (an example which also used xpointer). > "The final XInclude spec does not allow fragment identifiers. ...
