[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-2271?page=comments#action_12425627 ] David Jencks commented on GERONIMO-2271: ----------------------------------------
I have never understood what the intended meaning of these "serverwide" or app-specific labels might be. AFAIK they mean at most "it's harder to get to this gbean from other apps". Can someone provide a clear and correct explanation? If not I suggest removing them. > Security Realm deployed as part of a web app listed as "Serverwide" > ------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: GERONIMO-2271 > URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-2271 > Project: Geronimo > Issue Type: Bug > Security Level: public(Regular issues) > Components: console > Affects Versions: 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.x, 1.2 > Environment: Win XP, G1.1.1-SNAPSHOT Tomcat > Reporter: Vamsavardhana Reddy > Fix For: 1.2, 1.1.x, 1.1.2 > > > I have deployed a web application with its own security realm.
