Donald, I think David is using this JIRA to track the patches and discussion
around this topic instead of an issue in bugzilla. There was a lot of
discussion on [EMAIL PROTECTED] that towards the end I think was looking
favorably on his proposed changes. I think the tomcat devs wanted to consider
introducing his patch after the 6.0.x was more stabilized. Tomcat 6.0.13 was
officially released today so it's probably a good time to follow up on that
discussion right now.
