3.1.1 is already out so i think we can start a 3.1.2 but we will have
to go through the IPMC vote...

I *think* Guillaume means to say that for any backports to 3.1.1, use
the 3.1 branch.

My question is about releasing said backports. Do we need to vote on a
3.1.2 release or should we just push 3.1.1 again? Gert and I
discovered that we each overlooked backporting a fix to the 3.1.1
release and we're trying to figure out how to get it in there now.
