I don't think we should put this into 2.0 at this stage. There are potential
enhancements coming to the console (work currently in the sandbox) that
includes some console improvements and among them is this. However, there
might be differences so rather than introduce it now and change it again in the
next release I think we should wait to see what happens with the sandbox code.
