I am working on a research paper related to server configuration. I am trying to collect some measurements or static analysis comparing the number of system calls with overrides off vs. on and also with different path lengths (i.e. what is the actual performance impact of checking .htaccess files). Before I start from scratch, I was wondering if anyone has done anything related to this before.
