Hi Lokesh! If I remember correctly, the reason for the ticket [1] is possible CVE in the jetty framework. But we were limited in upgrading the jetty version due to the jdk version. But now the possible drop of jdk8 is discussed [2]. It looks like it can be cheaper waiting for the discussion to finish and just upgrade the jetty version.
Anyway, switching from jetty to any other framework should be discussed on devlist in a separate topic. If you have any reason for this please feel free to create such a topic.
