I can't simply announce the EoL (retirement) of a plugin. This needs a
VOTE about that here on the list ( which would be successfull but this
is an other story)....which in result includes a new release with
appropriate hints on the web site / JIRA..That's the reason i have
created an appropriate JIRA issue for that to have a reminder about that...

Thanks, I wasn't about the procedure. Wouldn't it be wise to do that
with that VOTE in parallel? You probably won't wait another two months
and then proclaim the news. People should ultimately know that this is
going to be probably the last version.
