Yeah it's good to run straight ahead of 3.0 and jdk6.
Although Robert will branch last tag, I hope he does not have bottleneck on
it but anyway better to have 3.0 than nothing.
I have only problem with the dependency maven-core which was tools having
scope=provided. Very strict enforcer may fail the build on this dependency,
therefore I would prefer having protected scope rather than excluding
transitive dependency in whatever project. You know what I mean. For me
maven-core is something like Weld container in JBoss and there api-spec
dependencies are never compile.
