Greetings! I've been unable to get the microphone working in Moblin v1 on my compal jax10. Some of things I've tried:
arecord --list-devices shows three capture devices. audacity lists many devices, and I've tried all of them for recording (without success) The "Mixer" utility indicates the presence of several mics (front mic and "regular"). Although I confess I don't know whether the mute buttons are on/off when blue or white, so I've tried the various combinations of settings. None of the Mic gain adjustments in the Mixer utility move (they are frozen at the bottom of the scale). And finally, the recording utility on the MidLinux distribution with the Compal works. I found an thread indicating some patches were necessary for microphone operation on the Q1Ultra, is the same true for the Compal and if so, can someone point me in the right direction?
