I tried to search for any configuration to cause this, but have no idea what it could be. In the meantime inserting the line: <input type="submit" name="submit" value="Search!"> after this tag <input id="searchDocs" value="Search..." class="class1 class2" accesskey="s" name="queryString" type="text"> solves the problem for me.
