If you want to start immediately, here a suggestion: The upcoming
release of AOO4.0 has the new functions AVERAGEIFS, COUNTIFS, SUMIFS,

If you do not have already a Wiki account, you should create one. As far
as I know, there is some time to wait, until you can write, because of
blocking spam. If it doesn't work for you, ask on this list.
In the bundled help the texts are missing too. But therefore you have to
directly work on the code. Do you want to work in that area?
