Yup, I was on vacation, but now I am back.

Happy to hear that all your previous <Perl> sections things works (after
all, it was a complete re-write without very complete tests)

I will have to look into this, but yes, I suspect that it has to do with
the fact that <Perl > sections are now processed at a later stage. Not
sure.
