following the OOoCon,i proposed starting on this list
who is there ? are you ready ?
for myself, i will probably have not so much time in the comming 2
weeks. But lets start anyway
Based on what i proposed at Koper

* Scripting is not the best name for the project i presented
we can open a new incubator project with a new name
'extensions.openoffice;org' - 'addons.openoffice.org' ????
your opinion ?
* Please let us know the domain you want to play with
- wizard-helpers development, translation framework, documentation,
starting guide, end-user downloader, website maintenance ... aso ...
- the languages you can use for helping newcomers and put content on
the site
- the native-lang project you can follow
* Your opinion about licencing on addons that the OpenOffice.org will relay
- free mandatory (?) - a specific free licence
- commercial/non commercial ?
- other related topics
obviously, commercial non-free addons are possible but i personnaly
think that it is not the role of OOo to relay them. If some enterprise
wants to sell addons, great but it is not our stuff
well that's a starting point and a lot will have to be discussed
But lets start with that
I think we can take the whole october month to organize and gather
information and ready to use tools
Then we will setup the site and advertise it
I suggest creating different threads for each topic
So respond to this email only if you want to add topic in the discussion
