[scripting-dev] Introduction

Hi,

I just joined the scripting project as 'Observer' but I'm hoping to be
more involved in future.

I am 42 year old software dev manager at large multinational (Solaris,
Linux, C++, Perl), Irish born & educated, married, 2 daughters - 3 & 9.
Living in USA (Arizona)

OOo is my 'hobby'. I own two websites - www.openofficetips.com focused on
the Calc tool and a portal site www.richhillsoftware.com.

I currently have two add-ins under developement - a port of XNumbers
from Excel VBA and a 'data entry wizard'

I would like to make more add-ins available in Calc for the financial
community - stock trading, financial reporting, options pricing etc.
Excel has huge advantage over OOo in terms of available plugins etc -
but it's a challenge I look forward to.
