I have three suggestions for the name, all nuancing the same concept:

1. remora; 2. cobia; 3. commensal

The general sense, 3, is 'eating at the same table'. 1 and 2 are fish that do eat at the same table as, for example, a shark, and those fish are sometimes eaten in turn by the 'table', perhaps a shark.

This is not so frivolous a suggestion as it may seem. I think an innovative term is appropriate to the general idea, as expressed by Laurent's presentation. In that spirit, I favor 3 over 1 and 2.

All three terms may be pluralized, but I don't think that's necessary and I don't want to type the extra character(s).
