I'm gonna take a look at this. I am just wondering why the
{{{SimplePropertyModel}}} does not have a model annotation at all. Even if you
are using alternate adapter classes
(http://sling.apache.org/documentation/bundles/models.html#specifying-an-alternate-adapter-class-since-sling-models-110)
that is mandatory.
