Redirect to /index.html no longer working in latest Launchpad

Since recently there is no longer a redirect from "/" to "/index.html", leading 
to a directory listing being exposed at "/" instead of the nice welcome page in 
"/index.html".
Does anyone know what might have caused this? Might be related to Oak, since it 
seems that directory listing comes from Oak.
