sure. jira is an issue tracking system (lika bugzilla, if you happen to know that).
in this case, you would create a *new issue* for the Wicket project with an issue type *new feature*. next you set an appropriate *summary* and *description*. after the issue has been created, you can *attach files* (link is on the left sidebar). there you have the choice to select a radio button with the title "Grant license to ASF for inclusion in ASF works". this means that you put your work under the Apache Software License 2.0 [0] which allows us to use it without legal problems/difficulties. that's basically it. if you have any more questions -> shoot ;) cheers, Gerolf [0] http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0 On Jan 7, 2008 1:03 AM, Jared Cronin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Gerolf could you explain what the jira stuff is and what you want me to do > with it, I am not understanding that:) > -Jared > > On Jan 6, 2008 2:42 PM, Gerolf Seitz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > please submit the button (.svg, .png, other source files that could be > > helpful for > > further editing) to a jira[0] issue. make sure you > > "Grant license to ASF for inclusion in ASF works" when attaching the > > files. > > i will close the task after that. > > > > guys, can we do this in a similar fashion as the homepage task? > > wdyt about [1]? some already gave a +1 for this. > > > > Gerolf > > > > [0] http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WICKET > > [1] > > > > > http://code.google.com/p/google-highly-open-participation-asf/issues/attachment?aid=-7926248624202397087&name=downloadlogo%231edit.png > > > > On Jan 6, 2008 8:18 PM, Jared Cronin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > > Hey guys I just wanted to know what needs to be done to finish this > > > project, > > > and btw congrats for releasing 1.3 > > > > > > -- > > > Trying to help the world by giving it all the ideas I have. > > > > > > > > > -- > Trying to help the world by giving it all the ideas I have. >
