Other notes that may be of interest..

Tp link set as 3g router mode, with usb Sierra wireless usb modem, set to channel 11, 80211g only, wpa2 pal security. Running stock f/w.

Pretty noisy in my house,  could see 7 other ap's, but only one of which was also showing as channel 11‎.

All xo1's at q2f19 firmware, running a custom OOB build based on 11.3, fc14.

No network scripts run,  nor any mesh disabling performed. Only thing in my rc.local is my swap stuff, for which the methodology was gleaned from mavrothal and mikus.

That's very interesting.
Thanks.

I've given the xo's to Mr moody for further testing.

Hi Kevin

Are you saying that you can switch on your twelve XO-1s and that they will automatically connect to a remembered AP?

Or did you connect them manually?

Regards
Terry

Potentially silly question. Once the xo-1 is successfully attached to an AP, does the mesh beaconing on those three channels on that box then potentially stop?

I had my twelve xo -1s successfully attach to an AP, and run internet reliably, concurrently  . Powering up a virgin non-ap attached xo-1 is when I saw issues.

Nota bene, I did no collaboration testing.

Yes, same here.

You mean the last beacon time shown in the scan results? Yes, this
demonstrates the underlying fault well; that the scan results for the
access point are being lost.
